Why President Trump's Tariff Negotiations will REDUCE prices, not Increase Prices

Overview from Arthur Rosenfield
In my judgment, the bumped tariffs will not remain in effect, and there will be a net positive reduction in prices for foreign made goods.
The trading partner countries will reduce their tariffs. Their markets will open, but have little benefit for US companies...because our production capacity has been decimated for years as a result of globalization. It will take 2-5 years to build factories and shipping to have benefit for US companies. In the meantime, lowered tariffs by other countries plus a strong $$$ will be a benefit to consumers.
China will be the only one to fight. As a result, they stand to lose "Emerging Economy" status at WTO. Xi Jiping will lose face for mishandling China and turning it into a war machine instead of focusing on feeding 1.8 billion people.
Caribbean countries should benefit because of long standing trade agreements with the US.
